Vaan empowers the new Indian generation to shape their own future and drive positive change in India
This is the result of understanding how freedom of movement can empower forward thinking and ignite curiosity. We believe in the power of ideas to change attitudes and we believe that intelligent e-mobility is the vehicle to take this thinking forward. By changing mind-sets we hope to change attitudes. Using electricity to power vehicles is not a new idea, but the power it has to change perceptions and in turn, possibilities, is what we want to harness. We encourage like-minded individuals to push their own cognitive boundaries and we do it by empowering them with our mobility solutions.
Vaan Electric Moto Private Limited is an eco-conscious project that was founded in 2018 with the development of Electric Mobility. Vaan was the first Indian start-up to be launched globally at EICMA, Italy. Vaan officially launched two of its most futuristic products--urban sport and race bikes. The company was launched in India in January 2022. The start-up is a DIPP-recognized Indian business registered in Mumbai, not to mention, it is also recognized under the Kerala Start-up Mission. At present, Vaan Electric Moto Private Limited has a subsidiary/assembly plant in Kochi for e-bikes. Vaan which is associated with Benelli Italy for engineering its products, has its branding and design done by Kiska, Austria, owned by KTM. The business has also signed a cooperation agreement with Benelli for engineering and the supply chain of its products. Recently, Vaan also partnered with Arianetech Engineering to develop fully electric racing superbikes for kids-a very unique product for the worldwide market.
